At Philippine Normal University-Mindanao, Aldelyn Jay M Deguinion is pursuing a degree in Physical and Health Education. She is a powerful and self-reliant woman. Her parents died when she was still a child, and she now has to fend for herself in order to finish her studies. She is now residing in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, Philippines, in the house of her relatives.

 

Aldelyn has a strong desire to dance, but she is unable to devote her full attention to it because she is a working student in her first year of high school. She tried out for a dance troupe at their school in her second year of high school. She fortunately passed the audition, but after her guardians reprimanded her for joining a dance troupe, Aldelyn lost interest in joining such organizations. Deguinion's impediments to the things she wants to do hinder her ability to do them.

 

This strong woman makes a living tutoring and freelancing, which helps her to finish her college degree while continuing to develop her abilities. She aims to create a body of work that demonstrates her determination and passion in order to support and inspire her siblings in their education. Deguinion is currently studying how to deal with the development of sports specific skills and how to promote inclusive education through physical activity.
